The Raleigh County Memorial Airport is located on a plateau 3-1/2 miles east of Beckley, West Virginia, on approximately 2,900 acres, elevation 2504 feet. A two runway configuration that offers wide open approaches - a crosswind runway of 5,000 ft 100 ft wide and north-south runway 6,750 ft x 150 ft wide.

Recently completed AIP projects offers excellent pavement on all surfaces; these projects also increased the weight bearing capacity on the primary runway (1/19) to 150,000 lbs. dual wheel. Improvements were also completed on Runway Lighting, Runway Safety Areas on each end of the primary (1/19) runway, with two connector taxiways just completed, and an updated Airport Master Plan.

Land available to extend runway length on North end (RW 19) to 10,000 ft with Runway Safety Area.

The Beckley VOR/DME is located at the Airport (inside fence) and operates at a frequency of 117.7. There are four published approach procedures to the airport: ILS precision approach to runway 19, non-precision, VOR approach to both runways (10 and 19), and a non-precision approach to Runway 1 is available.

Spacious property on the east side of primary runway (1/19) for Corporate, General Aviation, or Aviation Maintenance Center. Access road, and all utilities available on property with direct access to runway.
